Role Overview
Kimisitu Investment Company PLC is seeking a talented and motivated Web Developer to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our websites, web applications, and digital platforms to support business growth and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive websites and web applications.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to implement digital solutions.
- Optimize website performance, security, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
- Integrate third-party APIs, CRM systems, and other web services.
- Maintain website content and ensure accuracy across digital platforms.
- Implement SEO best practices and performance improvements.
- Monitor website analytics and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
- Experience with PHP, WordPress, MySQL, and API integrations.
- Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks.
- Knowledge of cloud hosting environments and web security best practices.
- Experience integrating CRM and ERP systems.
